Life-Changing Results
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) allows us to replace your natural lens with today’s most advanced premium options. Whether it’s the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), multifocal, or extended depth-of-focus technology, our goal is the same: to give you sharper, clearer vision to match your lifestyle and minimize your reliance on glasses.
Your Vision Milestones, Our Solutions
Your eyes will change with age, but your vision doesn’t have to fade. With Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) and a variety of advanced premium lens technologies, K2 Vision helps you enjoy clear, lasting vision.

Milestone 03: Cataracts (70+)
If glare, halos, or trouble driving at night are affecting your daily life, cataracts may be the cause. Cataract surgery replaces the cloudy natural lens with a customized premium lens, restoring the clarity you’ve been missing.

Milestone 02: Middle Age (50–70)
In your 50s and 60s, reading glasses often become an everyday hassle. Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) with a customized premium lens can change that. By replacing your natural lens, RLE restores clarity at both near and far distances—often freeing you from glasses while also preventing cataracts from ever forming. It’s a proactive way to protect your vision and enjoy life with sharper sight now.

Milestone 01: Young Adult 20-50
Whether you’re interested in LASIK/PRK or exploring other vision correction options, this is often the ideal time to consider treatment. Many people in this age range achieve excellent results with LASIK, while others—especially those with thin corneas or higher prescriptions—may be better suited for EVO ICL™, which corrects moderate-to-severe nearsightedness and astigmatism without removing corneal tissue.
Surgical Vision Correction in Seattle
Many people looking to reduce their dependence on glasses or contacts are excellent candidates for advanced lens-based vision correction, such as Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) with premium intraocular lens options. These include technologies such as Light Adjustable, multifocal, trifocal, and extended depth-of-focus lenses, all designed to deliver crisp vision tailored to your needs. Below, learn more about RLE and the full spectrum of premium lens options we offer, and how we determine the best vision correction for you.
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
RLE replaces your natural lens with a premium lens designed to correct your prescription and reduce or eliminate the need for glasses, even as your eyes age. The procedure is quick, outpatient, and offers a lifetime of benefits.
Premium Lens Options
Light Adjustable Lens (LAL)
The Light Adjustable Lens is an innovative intraocular lens implanted during cataract or refractive lens exchange surgery. What makes it unique is the ability to fine-tune your vision after surgery using non-invasive light treatments, allowing you to preview and customize your outcome before finalizing it.
Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery replaces your cloudy natural lens with a clear, custom intraocular lens (IOL) to restore sharp vision. It’s a quick outpatient procedure that provides lasting clarity and can reduce your dependence on glasses.
