Dr. Jack Tian specializes in refractive lens exchange, cataract surgery, and implantable collamer lenses. After graduating from the University of California with his bachelor’s in molecular biology, Dr. Tian received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California.

Dr. Tian completed his ophthalmology surgical training at the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester, the country’s premier optics institute. While in Rochester, he received training from Dr. Scott Macrae, M.D. — a pioneer, authority, and innovator in the field of refractive surgery. At K2 Vision, Dr. Tian uses the industry’s leading technologies to help his patients achieve their best vision while moving the industry forward by refining and building new devices and surgical techniques.

When he isn’t performing life-changing eye surgeries, Dr. Tian enjoys hiking, making music, teaching, traveling, renovating, mentoring, and giving back to his community through community service. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor in ophthalmology at the University of Washington.
