Welcome to K2 Vision!

At K2 Vision, our goal is to give every patient the VERY BEST solution to their vision problems. And sometimes, that’s not LASIK.

That’s why we’ve launched K2 Vision, to connect patients with our incredible surgeons to provide RLE and ICL – life-changing vision-correct procedures for people who don’t qualify for LASIK.

Please watch Dr. King and Dr. Kopstein explain the differences between LASIK and RLE.

RLE is a great option for people suffering from DLS (Dysfunctional Lens Syndrome) or early cataracts, the result of a natural aging process that reduces visual clarity and focusing power and makes it harder to read up close or in low light situations.

ICL is also a good option for patients who have been told that they cannot have laser vision correction either because their nearsighted or astigmatism correction is too high for safe LASIK surgery or they have other diagnoses like dry eyes or cornea problems resulting from contact lens use. At K2 Vision, we will carefully analyze your eyes to determine if ICL may be your best option for vision correction.

The best way to determine if you are a good candidate for RLE or ICL is to get a free consultation appointment. However, you should also review the specific characteristics that influence whether or not a person is likely to be a viable candidate.

What is a
Refractive Lens Exchange?

As we age, the lenses in our eyes become harder and less flexible – lessening our ability to focus on things up close. Cue: reading glasses. But if you don’t want to be constrained to wearing glasses for the rest of your life, RLE can replace your natural lens with a new artificial intra-optical lens (IOL) – allowing you to regain your up-close focusing abilities.

So you can toss your reading glasses forever!

What is a
Implantable Collamer Lens?

What is a
Implantable Collamer Lens?

Too nearsighted to have LASIK? The Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) procedure could be your way to experience ultra high-definition vision at any distance!

In ICL, a lens is implanted in front of your natural lens to give you astoundingly clear vision day and night. You’ll even get UV protection built right in!
